Chair’s address to 2025 Annual General Meeting
Good afternoon and welcome to Wisr’s 2025 Annual General Meeting. I’m Matthew
Brown, and it’s a pleasure to be here once again as Chair to reflect on what has been
another transformational year for the Company.
In FY25, Wisr successfully executed its ‘return to growth’ strategy, doubling loan
originations while maintaining strong credit quality and achieving EBITDA profitability.
These outcomes are the result of disciplined decision-making, a clear strategic focus
and the commitment of our leadership team and staff.
Pleasingly, following on from the FY25 year-end, Wisr has executed on two significant
capital management initiatives. Firstly, Wisr announced an equity capital raise of up to
$11.4M earlier this month, an important step that supports the next phase of Wisr’s
growth towards scale and profitability. Secondly, Wisr refinanced our $50M corporate
funding facility on substantially improved commercial terms.
When combined with the capital raise, this refinancing has resulted in a lower overall
debt balance for the Company and improved funding costs, thereby providing flexibility
to strengthen our position in the market, execute on targeted growth initiatives, and
continue delivering exceptional outcomes for our shareholders, customers, and
partners.

Following these recent capital initiatives, we were pleased to recently upgrade our FY26
guidance, with Cash NPAT profitability now expected in H2FY26.
In FY25, Wisr originated $422M in new loans, up 101% on FY24, with strong
momentum across both Personal Loans and Secured Vehicle Loans. This growth was
delivered without compromising credit quality, with the average credit score of loans
originated increasing to 804. Additionally, 90+ day arrears reduced from 1.58% to
1.40%, and net losses improved by 61bps to 1.79%.
After three consecutive quarters of loan book growth, we finished FY25 with a loan book
of $824M. This reflects both the momentum of our ‘return to growth’ strategy and
continued improvements across broker and direct distribution channels.
In FY25, Wisr reported revenue of $91.6M, broadly in line with the prior year, and
achieved positive EBITDA of $0.8M - a significant turnaround from the $2.3M EBITDA
loss in FY24. We were pleased to deliver this result while continuing to invest in our
collections strategies, broker experience and the automation of loan application
processes.
Wisr also delivered improvements in portfolio yield and net interest margin (NIM), which
reached 11.20% and 5.46% respectively by year end, reflecting disciplined pricing and
improved unit economics.

Wisr’s funding platform was further strengthened in May 2025 with the execution of our
third warehouse facility - a $267M structure supported by senior funding from Barclays
Bank PLC, complemented by a new mezzanine funder joining the platform. This facility
brought total committed warehouse capacity to $917M, providing Wisr with a strong and
flexible funding base to support ongoing growth. We also made our return to the ABS
market with a $250m transaction under our Freedom platform. The transaction was
well-supported with a number of new institutional investors and attractive pricing of
1.39% over BBSW allowing us to free up warehouse capacity to support our customers.
Operationally, the business made strong progress in FY25, including automating core
lending functions, improving the broker experience, and continuing to evolve the Wisr
App - supporting deeper engagement and improved financial outcomes for our
customers. Pleasingly, customer NPS remained high at +75, and engaged Wisr App
users are 33% further ahead on their loans compared to unengaged customers.
We welcomed Sam Harding as our new Chief Operating Officer in August 2025. Sam
brings deep experience in operational transformation and customer-centric technology,
and we look forward to his leadership as Wisr enters its next chapter.
During the year, we refined our strategy and evolved our purpose: to power people’s
progress towards what matters to them. This builds on our original mission and reflects
our focus on delivering measurable, tangible outcomes that give customers more
confidence, control and clarity in their financial lives.

Looking ahead, FY26 marks an important new phase for Wisr as we sharpen our
strategic priorities to accelerate profitability and sustainable growth. As I mentioned
earlier, as a result of the recent capital management initiatives undertaken by the
Company we were pleased to upgrade our FY26 guidance earlier this month, with Cash
NPAT profitability now expected in H2FY26. We also reaffirm our FY26 guidance for
loan origination growth of 40%+ (FY25: $422M), revenue growth of 15%+ (FY25:
$91.6M), and a cost-to-income ratio below 29% (FY25: 31%).
Wisr is entering FY26 from a position of strength. Our platform, people and purpose put
us in a strong position to scale responsibly and deliver long-term value for shareholders,
partners and customers.
On behalf of the Wisr Board, I would like to sincerely thank our shareholders for their
ongoing support and trust. I also wish to thank the Board, Executive Leadership Team
and all Wisr staff for their hard work, discipline, and commitment throughout FY25.
Thank you.
